Do you every take time to look back from where you came? Examining why the river took you where it did? Do you not look until you are drowning? Or do you stop every once in a while to see where you are floating? There are times where is it ok, to just float down the river and letting it take you were it pleases. Other times, you should be trying like heck to swim against the current. And sometimes you just need to let someone throw you a life preserver. Or climb in the canoe and paddle. The river changes, do you change with it? Do you try to maintain exactly where you are, regardless of the force of the current? Do you know where you are on the river? Do you know where you are in life?

im like a river stone who gets trampled and walked on...thrown into the fray,,,or rolled down stream by the strong flow of humanity.im the stone rolling towards the mouth of the great open..where vastness of life and mass engulf the world...the river stone rolling home.

I try to go with the flow, but God only knows it's not always easy to surrender
