Take the action out of the stock (wood I would presume), dremel some of the wood out, replace with aluminum or steel devcon, set the action back in while still putty, and when it dries you have a uniform surface the action sets on. Also, take a dollar bill and run it underneath the barrel, if you can't slide the bill to the action, then the stock is puttting the barrel in a "bind". Does this still work on synthetic stocks...thats what this one is. |

On my target rifles the action is literally "glued in" - no screws holdong the action to the stock. |

I didn't realize how unusualy it was for female bowhunting until I went on the trip to Alaska and moved out of the boonies. Oh well, I had no brothers so I grew up a tom boy
