Society and the media are turning our kids into adult wannabes. It's really sad. Let them stay kids for crying out loud! :cry:

My first time was with a random stranger just because everyone was doing it. My second time was with a guy I was dating for a few weeks, the third time, I got pregnant. 2 weeks after my 18th birthday my son was born. Hell be 14 this summer and I just do all I can to keep him safe and make him realize what a huge decision and responsibility sex is.
Of course as a mother you do that, but your parents did too, right? Not that it's not important for kids to have the encouragement of the parents in making wise decisions, but is it really something a parent has any real impact with anymore? I mean with all the media and internet access available to them now, how much can you say that would possibly compete with all the temptations out there?
