Just make yourself start talking to new people.

1) Look someone in the eyes (mandatory)
2) open mouth (mandatory)
3) Let words come out. (Optional if she's a 10)

But then they get whiskey d!ck

Well hon.. there are some basic things you can do.. whether they work or not really does depend upon the level of shyness you are talking about.

1 - First look & listen.. notice something about the person, what they do for a living, what they are talkign about

2 - Make a friendly comment on something you learned from step 1

3 - to keep the conversation going, ask them to tell you something about (their job, hobbies, lifestyle, etc..)

You'll be having a conversation before you know it

Practice makes perfect . Just try to be yourself and you see how much ahead you go . You are frightened from rejection ,
embarrassment ,hurt ,and not getting the respect you deserve ...
etc. So ,you are judging people without them saying a word .
Express your opinion and show yourself as you are and if you are a nice person , you will be surprised how much people will appreciate you . Good luck ! !.

You know the fear of rejection plays a big role in shyness. Getting over that is really easy. Just remember that rejection of you is not really personal. I know it sounds crazy but everyone is not for everyone so if you do not match them, it is not a personal attack on you, you just don't match. It is gonna happen no matter what we do so no use worrying about it. The only regrets we usually have in life are the chances we did not take so No regrets.

Really all you need to do is realize one thing. You have ABSOLUTELY nothing to lose. Even if you crash and burn....which you will more than not, you made an effort! Think about which of your friends get the most women?? Is it the ones that just stand there and do nothing or the ones that go talk to the ladies?
