The nice thing about the large batteries is when your laptop warns you that your battery is running low because you have only an hour and twenty minutes left. SSD helps too.

- 6M L2 cache
- Intel(R) Core(TM) 2 Duo Processor T9300 (2.50GHz)
- 17.0" diagonal WXGA+ High-Definition HP BrightView Widescreen Display (1440 x 900)
- 4GB DDR2 System Memory (2 Dimm)
- 512MB NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GS
- HP Imprint (Radiance) + Fingerprint Reader + Webcam + Microphone
- Intel(R) PRO/Wireless 4965AGN Network Connection
- 240GB 7200RPM SATA Dual Hard Drive (120GB x 2)
- LightScribe SuperMulti 8X DVD+/-RW with Double Layer Support

I have the The 6000 version of this. And payed the same when it first came out. Must say since I have used it continuously for almost two weeks now, I love it. Have had it since November but just really starting using it now.
