People sometimes check your profile because of something you said in the forums..then they find out you are 30 years younger or live 100 miles away; or for some other reason they are wildly incompatible. What should they say "viewed your profile, not interested"? I often click on profiles when people post, just to see how old they are, where they live, if they are male or female, etc. It doesn't mean I am scoping them out for a date. I click on 50 profiles a day - I am not sending out messages to all of them. It's crazy to expect me to. whoa i stand corrected Fine. Then I will let you live.

Don't mind it at all. My pet peeves are folks that don't return my e-mails, letters and calls and who don't acknowledge receiving my letters. People can check me out all day long, for all I care. That's what's nice about the forums, too. You can get some quick feedback, sometimes.

This is what I believe. In person the man should be the one to break the ice. Thats not saying that its not OK for the woman to do it first. Online like this I feel the woman should break the ice. Because us guys get ignored alot and I found that being the first, resulted in a lot of wasted time typing. So, us guys need to show an interest in a particular woman we like then wait for a reaction. Works for me... Unless the woman keeps on viewing your profile. Then you better jump before she does lose interest. That would be her way of making the first move. If you forget that people are shy, you may miss "THE" one.
