Topic: How long does it take you to get over someone?

with each relationship it gets easier and easier, when i was your age, it was rough, but now, i get over someone real easy, cause i have found that if we aren't together, then it wasn't meant to be..either they weren't for me, or i wasn't right for them, that's why it didn't work, we just want it to work in our minds, but life doesn't work that way, we force it, then that's what causes problems, so you get used to it after awhile...

I give a relationship every possible effort...every possible chance, so if I'm at that point where I'm walking away from it, I'm already over it. I do spend some time getting used to the fact that I don't have someone in my life again though. What happens if the other person doesn't give you every possible chance? I've been lucky with that so far hon...dunno.

What happens if the other person doesn't give you every possible chance? if they didn't give you every chance then they weren't worth it, just think if you were married, and they were always doing that, never giving you a chance, forget it, it wasn't meant to be...

How do you know you are over someone? Honestly... I really don't think you get over them... you just forget about them till you see how happy they are with someone else... in time you learn how to turn the feelings off. I absolutely agree. That is how I feel.

How do you know you are over someone? I was over my ex-wife before we even separated. Other times, it takes longer. There's one I may never get over....and part of that is my own fault. I'm not even sure I want to get over her.

they tell me its over by the time there asking for stuff they forgot. iam over them. you say bye i say ok. no start over, nada, see ya
