When do you feel the most alive? When do you feel the most dead? Have you been through anything that just killed you inside but at the same time gave you a glimpse of life?

when I watched my grandmother in a matter of hours slip from the great woman she was into a shell of a person. It was horrible, a part me died that day and then another part of me became alive. I look at life differently than I used to. I appreciate it more.

Alive when laughing Dead when finally put the twins to bed Killed inside never Bruised inside Often out of the ****/fertelizer!! fed in the marriage emerged two beautiful roses which are my glimpse of the future life. Can't get any better

watching my mum die slowly from pancreus cancer took just under a year, made me appreciate the little things more, stop moaning so much, and smile more enjoy life

I suppose I could look at marriage #2 that way. When I decided to live my own life, I reached out and became a friend to new people. For the first time in my life last night, I got to rock her 4 yearold to sleep, with an ear-to-ear content smile so yea. The bad stuff had to die to make room for the good stuff. I'm figuring out the only way a guy can get away with holding a barbie doll is if the doll is living and breathing.
