ps....about the scooby doo mentiond in the poem....

My beloved pappa loved a scooby doo dancing doggie that I gave to him in his last days.
That dog would dance and sing christmas carols all year long!!

While pappa was in the hospital in the end( The sound control was set to automatic play at the smallest movement) , scooby would go off at the slightest noise...and would play chrstmas carols and dance....even in the dead heat of summer....and drove the poor nurses staff nuts!

They finally hid scooby in the fartherest closet in the hospital corridor.

But when they saw me coming each day to see pappa, I alway had them retrieve scooby doo back from that hall closet in the corridor...and carry the doggie back to pappa's room.

And wouldn't you know..ole scooby could always be heard, singing and dancing all the way back down that long hospital corridor... as the nurse reluctingly carried the singing and dancing scooby back to pappa's room!!
I think scooby drove the whole nurses staff nuts in that hospital...
But pappa sure loved that dog!!
So did I!


Pappa has been home six years now...just felt led to share this poem .

Awe....thank you Beautiful people here...but my papa's been home with the Lord for 6 years now......

I actually shared this poem for someone who has just recently lost her beloved pappa

And just wanted the beautiful lady to know....that despite the tears that come...
there also will be those precious memories for our loved ones...
that will remain forever....
