i actually know a couple of people who met here and are dating. so stuff does happen, i just dont think that they are gonna come and find you and tell you that it worked out. but yea, you just dont see everything that happens off-screen......

90& People on dating sites really don't want to hook up. What they want is to pretend they are looking to find someone as this meets some need I have yet to identify.....
Some are not ready and realize they are not ready once they come here then they find a friend 1000 miles away and that meets some kind of need in its self. You observation is correct you will almost never see anyone hook that live local.... My .02 |

Maybe some of us aren't on here to "hook up" and just make friends. Maybe some of us have already "hooked up" and decided not to post it on the net. And maybe some of us have a profile so outrageous there's no hope date?
