I think I'd want some sort of explanation. "Hi, I thought we were going out last night. What happened?"

I'd walk up to her and say "Hey, I'm really sorry I didn't show up last night..."

I would hit em over the head with the bottle I was holding and then push them into the street in front of that big oncoming bus and then threaten any onlookers that if they told I would do the same to them...Just me though

although my JSH friends stand me up all the time on here.. they leave smack in the middle of conversations. I hate that.

You have to let them see that they missed out on dating a super person, by just not acknowledging them, and going on with your life.

I think that's exactly what I would say if I hadn't heard from him yet, but ideally, he'd have called before the date to cancel instead.

I'd confront them. They're getting off easy if you say nothing.

Same as when the next time I see this gal who doesn't return my calls anymore. I am going to tell her I am sorry she didn't feel comfortable enough just to say, "Gee I don't think this is going anywhere" instead of ignoring my calls. Move on

He had to take his mother to the emergency room last night and for once you were not the first priority on his mind. Now she's in ICU, he's exhausted...worried sick, and you are all going to treat this sweet, dear man like crap, because his disastrous situation made you miss diner and a movie?

Yeah...I say find out what's up before jumping to conclusions and treating someone cruelly.

i would have to fight the urge to approach her. If you really wanted to make an impact you would talk about the amazing time you had. Then say something like, "huh, too bad you didn't show up..." Then you switch topics on her. It's important to remain cool in situations. She will most likely feel a bit left out, and not distanced from your confrontation if you don't make a big deal. This will make her more inclined to keep her next date if you decide she's worth it. Once again, although angry, i wouldn't bring it up much. I'd just say, "well too bad for her" and drop her like a plate at a greek wedding. (Unless, of course, SHE approached ME, all apologetic, and had a good reason for standing me up)
