2nd poem
Please dear, raise your head; I’d like to finally see your eyes Your head is bowed low and you’re always hidden behind a disguise Your eyes alone tell a story, a deep-rooted tale Do confide in me, know with me you won’t fail I will not judge you because no one is perfect I am sorry about the abuse you had to inflict Many times did you endure neglect and hurt Shoved aside by all and pushed to the dirt But I’m here for you now, no more harm and shame No more sorrow, despair, depression and blame I’m all ears to listen, all shoulders for you to cry No more will you hear the sad words goodbye Thank you for opening up your beautiful eyes No more... No more... Disguise |
