Sorry I have not responded. I have tried multiple discs. I just do not understand. It will fit on my 2gig flash drive but NOT on a 4 gig DVD? This is not the only movie that I have had trouble with. I have these movies I would like to get off of my computer but need to burn them first.

Your burner software is trying to convert the file into DVD format. Burn the DVD as DATA and it will work fine.

Also verify that your HDD has a gig of space free.

Spidercmb she didn`t say she wants to convert it happy she said she wants to burn it and it doesn`t have room

I understand that, but does her DVD burner software? As I stated in my original post "Or you can burn it as DATA and get a DVD player that will play the file's format." Obviously, her burning software is trying to do the conversion even if she doesn't want it to.

There is no way to trim it to my knowledge. If I recall, about 700MB equals 1 GB. And there is not way to chop the movie up into 4 parts just to play it... Sorry about your luck (not to sound like a smart ass)

Actually 1024MB=1GB There is a way to shrink down the size of the media but you have to have a program to change it to a different format, ie mpeg to avi etc

I use Nero also and I can put 3 movies on one DVD, so her not having enough room is impossible. Go to Nero Express, then down at the bottom and click on Default Video Options, click on DVD Video and then you can select Super Long Play and then put 3 movies on one DVD. What is so difficult with that?
