I'm a grudge holder..I still hate my cousin for evil comments she made when I was 15 and I'm 29 now.

forgive easy, and forgive often;(why!) because I want to be forgiven when i am in the wrong.

Life is way to short to hold a grudge and I have better places to focus my energy.

Do you forgive easily or hold grudges?  Do you let things go easily or do you take awhile to forgive? 
"Forgive me of my trespasses as I forgive those who trespass against me" I forgive, most of time easily. But, however I'm not a complete sucker and continue to let those things keep happening over and over. Holding grudges is completely unhealthy and commonly related to a Spiritual deficiency. It's tough to accept some people the way they are. The more I do so (accept people the way they are), consequently the less grudges I hold or have. Which inevitably makes it easier to forgive. |

I hold a grudge to the bitter end...or until they apologise for their trespasses....Which ever comes first...
I'm with Lil here in a lot of ways but usually I forget I'm mad and not b/c I want to but b/c I'm that brain dead sometimes... My friends calls me "the girl from 50 first dates" he can't remember her name.... but I'm the one with the bad memory....

I'll only hold a grudge if the offense is pretty severe, otherwise not so much.

it depends, some things take me a little longer then others but as time goes on ill forgive. |

I take awhile to forgive...BUT depending on the situation...don't allow the person to be part of my life again...I forgive for me...it doesn't mean that I forget what the person is capable of...That is my way of seperating the wheat from the chaff and keeping crap out of my life!!!!!!!!!

I tend to get really mad really quickly and then get over it just as quickly. I do apologize when I am wrong.
I don't want to hold grudges because it takes too much energy but if someone wrongs me I keep a wary distance in the future.No grudge, just careful not to let them do it again. |
