grandfather served in vietnam, great great great uncle was at iwo jima. uncle served in navy, another uncle in the army, and my cousin in law is leavin in august for iraq with national guard my prayers and thoughts are with all of them

grandfather served in vietnam, great great great uncle was at iwo jima. uncle served in navy, another uncle in the army, and my cousin in law is leavin in august for iraq with national guard my prayers and thoughts are with all of them God bless your family and watch over your cousin

my 13 yr old son is seriously thinking of joining the military..in fact some schools here at his age are already pushing it.. my hat's r off to anyone including my son that goes. I would be so proud !! he'll be 18 in 5 yrs..that will go fast but i soppurt my son 100% if he decides to go

Son completed 1 tour in Afghanistan and 1 tour Iraq 18 months each. Out now My father is Nam Vet and all 5 sons have served in a different branch of the military coast guard,marine,army (me),airforce,navy

Nam vet here too, dont like the war but support the troops!!! God Bless you for your service and the way you think. I wish more people would! You don't have to like the war, but please support our troops. My youngest son and his wife are in the Air Force. His wife got back here in January and he will be back in two weeks. My oldest son is 30 years old with a family and he is joining the Army. I couldn't be more proud of my boys if I tried!!

Congratulations!! My stepdad was in the 101st in Vietnam, my Grandfather on my mothers side helped design bomber jets in WWII for a company called Martin Marieta and even had his name mentioned in a book. My other Grandfather was in the Hungarian Army but, fought AGAINST Hitler in WWII for the peace of their own country..... I know the military at times can be bad. Wars are pointless in my book but, I open my eyes to the people who care enough about us to do what they're doing and I can't forget and not recognize this......KUDOS to your family!!!
