Already gotten hired by another company.. what would your last words be if anything for your current company.

I mean would you start telling every body off knowing they can't do much but ban you from that company etc or would you just say you quit and walk out ??.

I've been debating this very question and I really feel like telling two people off very much so the day I quit knowing they can't do noting because I would have already quit and then walked out of the store / company.

But most likely I would just call up and say I Quit and be very very happy.

How about the rest of you people. If you where able to that is quit your current job and you had another job already lined up, would you say anything or just walk in and quit.

I don't think by telling people off would be burning any bridge and or just quitting after having something better etc.

When i quit my last job i wrote an entire letter explaining why i quit in a very unappealing manor ...even called my boss at the time a neandrothal (probably spelled that wrong) Fortubatly for me he still gave me a good reccomendation hahaha don't know how that worked out but i guess i was a really good employee... i like the job but my boss was just way to nasty for me to deal with anymore after about 2 years

I thought I was being terminated from my position...so i told them what I thought they said it was becausee of my forward thinking and foresisight they made me district manager ummm felt pretty small.....you cant take back what is said aloud.....and you may not be as lucky as me

I'd probably wouldn't be as luck as you, but hell if that all it takes to tell some people off just to get a head I'd do it asap.

The fact is some people may or may not know is I have busted my a$$ and even worked with a broken neck until doctors could finally find out what was wrong and fix it to a point, but none the less I busted my butt and give my blood sweat and everything. I feel I work more better then half of the people at my company even if I talk a lot or to much sometimes I still have all of my work catched up and done before others and I am just fast and can't help it.

But I will do one thing and that is say good bye and rather that is telling them nice lee or what I would really like to say is two different things or rather a whole other story in it self.

Bottom line, I worked to hard and busted my a$$ way to much to put up with this bs from management that have there heads so far stuck up there a$$es they can't see right, I mean it's like they get some kind of power trip from it.

With current economic conditions, I wouldn't burn any bridges. I'd make sure my replacement was as well trained, informed and prepared as he or she could be and I'd leave with a rolodex full of names, addresses, e-mails and phone #s for the future.

Build and maintain your network. You never know when people'll come in handy down the road.

I get your point and all, but there are loads of people if I could say too many on my end, so it really wouldn't hurt them or me any and I wouldn't need to train any body before I left, or grab phone or emails etc.

I know what you mean though. But I understand the way the current economic is and it's conditions that is why I think and hope I have something else lined up really soon.

I will just about take anything at this point in time because of how bad things are going at my current job.
