try 3.49!

there's no reason for it, but they'll use every excuse to make it that high.

Not getting any lower.. Only going to pay .30 more for it by summer. Look up articles about using Acetone as an additive in fuel.

http://www.pureenergysystems.com/news/2005/03/17/6900069_Acetone/

Read that, It's a good article.

We've been paying 3.97 a gallon for regular unleaded here in Cali for the better part of a couple of weeks now. I have to laugh when CNN or Fox News start blathering about the national average being 3.40/gallon, which is something I WISH I could be paying for fuel right now. grumble

I think the states should be pressured to reduce the taxes we pay - I can't remember for certain but it seems I am paying 60-80 cents per gallon just in state and local taxes - let them go else where for their money.

the funny thing is everyone wants to keep government regulations out of the market until their mistakes burden them to the point of bankruptcy. Buying houses too far away from where they work, buying huge gas hogs to tool around in. Now the cheap gas is gone, and people want other peoples heads. Look to the mistakes you made in your own purchasing decisions. I know it is hard to do, but we all did this to ourselves.

i beleave it may help the economy for the gov to increase certian taxes such as food in order to replace the money for the high gas prices in other words i think the gov should put some tax dollars toward gas to help the economy

For those of you that won't click on the site.. I'll brief you on what Acetone is. It's a chemical in paint thinner and nail polish remover.

Using it in your fuel tank in a 1-3 oz to a 10 gal of fuel ratio decreces the amout of fuel burned and unused, thus increcing your MPG by up to 20-25MPG in some cases. The Acetone burns and uses the normaly unused fuel and also cleans out your fuel system.

My car (a 2000 Ford Taurus SE) had an increce of 15MPG. I put 2 oz of Acetone in the tank to 10 gal of gas (That's roughly 2 shot glasses) and it worked great.

do you not understand that the fuel prices are already going to touch every economic good in this country? Oil touches EVERYTHING in one way or another. This will not stop at the pumps, this is only the beginning
