You make a good point, the only consolidation I can offer is despite his kind demeanor. Drow have no use for the laws or the ways of society. He is a thief himself and he has a tendency to blend into the darkness. Always watch your back with that one around. Unfortunately if a dark elf knows how to do one thing it is get information.
