Right now, I'd work at McDonalds. Im just trying to get something to get by with and put some money back in the bank. I'm very outgoing and friendly, people person. Just the town I live in is small and not much around here.

I am really starting to HATE where I live. I swear, people around here don't want to have anyone with tattoos working for them. I had a job and then because of my tattoos they told me it wasn't professional. This was at a redneck resturant.  I just went to another place, completely covered. no tattoos showing, and they asked if I could work weekends and I said no. But during the week I am open and they said sorry, you have to at least work one weekend day.  I am a single mom trying my damndest to do what I can and I can't seem to catch a break. *sings* "I said dont worry 'bout a thing cuz every little thing is gonna be alright" Are there any hair salons in ur area?  You could be a receptionist there...You could work for me, I need a receptionist now but Im afraid Im too far away my dear...

Most companies don't give a crap about families.I have a 7 year old daughter but with the crowd i work for i have to work 6 day weeks to make up my hours.Just got my first week off in 7 and a half months.So as you can see not much time to spend with her.Have threatened to walk a few times but at the end of the day i need the money and they know this

I needed a job like yesterday. I have applied for everything I can in my area online and in the past week have applied EVERYWHERE in person. There aren't many options left.  I can relate to that. Job market here is sorta the suck as well. I think it might be everywhere though. |

The job market really leaves a lot to be desired these days. It wasn't that long ago I was out of work for 4 months after I was let go (because of downsizing)...hell you couldn't even get a job through the temp. services. I was foruntate to have moved back to my hometown in IL. and found work. Good Luck to you in your search
