A guy goes intzo a pet shop in search of a parrot.
The owner says, "I'm afraid I only have the one left!" There is one problem though. The parrot has a hook in its beak. What you have to do is file it's beak back and it will be just fine. You've got to be careful not to file it too far though, because if you take too much off the bird will drown the first time it has a drink." The guy takes this information on board and buys the parrot, and off he goes with the parrot sitting on his shoulder he goes. On his way home he stops off at a hardware store and goes in to buy a file. The owner of the hardware shop asks him if he needs one to file the parrots beak. The says that he does. The hardware store owner finds a file for him and says. "You've got to be careful not to file it too far though, because if you take too much off the bird will drown the first time it has a drink." The guy acknowledges this and off he goes with his parrot on his shoulder. A week or so later, the guy bumps into the pet shop owner in the street. The pet shop owner enquires how the parrot is and whether it is talking yet? The guy says says "The parrots dead". The pet shop owner says "Did you file the beak back too far. Did he drown when he had a drink?". The guy says says "Sh!t no. He was dead when I got his head out of the vice!!"   |
