Get one of those packets of deep conditioner from the beauty supply store that you leave on for 10-20 minutes.

I just do not understand how adding more chemicals to my hair will bring it back to life.

Try using conditioning treatments twice a week...although this will only help with the feel of your hair...If you have over-processed your hair its time for a haircut...and FYI...the hair shaft is the hair that extends past the scalp and its all dead..the only part of the hair that is living is in the hair root... |

Dove has a shampoo and conditioner for damaged hair that I use. Also, go to Sallys and ask those girls. My sister in law manages one and knows just about everything about the hair products.

You could also make your own conditioner at home....mix 2 Tablespoons of honey with 2 cups warm water..stir until diluted...after you have washed your hair and rinsed...pour this mixture onto hair as a final rinse....do not rinse this out...

There is a "Hair" revival currently on Broadway. I'd ask one of them how they do it.

I wouldn't suggest otherwise. My sis in law is very knowledgeable. I color my hair, and she has given me things that are great. |
