Is that a state? seems to me every city I have been to that has a cut off like that, tends to be a state law. Thus the reference of state. Sorry was not as proper or understandable as you needed it....lol. |

Hit Water Street in downtown Milwaukee. On any given night, there's a slew of bars/clubs/food places. Check Rosie's Waterworks or Brew City Barbeque. www.brewcitybbq.com
Go on up to 48th and Highland and hit the Miller Brewing Company tours. 45 minutes of learning about what you'll be sampling. After the tour, yep, free beer. Mon-Sat, 8AM-5PM. www.millerbrewing.com Potawatomi Casino is down in the valley, a short drive from Downtown. 24 hours, gaming tables, slots, poker rooms, and three amazing restaurants. www.paysbig.com Miller Park is just west of Milwaukee, and the Brewers have a few upcoming homestands. Seats start at just about 11.00 bucks, and there's no real bad seats at Miller Park. Best food in the majors, too! brewers.com You don't need to stay at the Hilton downtown, to enjoy the Hilton downtown. Paradise Landing is the only indoor water park in the city. They have day passes, half day passes, etc. www.paradiselanding.com The Milwaukee County Zoo is one of the best in the midwest and has everything from sharks to vultures. Recognized for their gorilla breeding program and their far-ranging aviary. Open 365 days a year! www.milwaukeezoo.org The Milwaukee Art Museum is one of the most beautiful structures in the city. Downtown, right on the lakefront, it was designed by Santiago Calatrava. www.mam.org If you need further inspiration on my fair city, drop me a line... I'll try to help out making your two month stay bearable. |

I never made it up to Orange County... Once a year, I used to fly to Phoenix, rent a car, drive I-8 to San Diego, hang out, play a little golf, hit the beach... I haven't made the trip in oh... 3 years now. <sigh>
