I just met this girl over the phone today and we seemed to be getting along and then all of a sudden she said she needed to charge her phone. Then she said she would call me back.. she does not have a cell phone it was her home phone. Do any of you think she might have been making that up to blow me off????

yep, sounds like a cordless phone died. Happens to me all the time and when both are dead, it's over

Kirk cordless phones need charged as well... Don't worry about it, if you had a good conversation then it'll happen again.. At least she got off before it went dead and they you'd have had NO idea what happened... Be positive!!!!

Sounds like one of those new heartless phones. Call her back in a few hours or so and see if it happens again and ask her direct: would you mind if I call you back in a few hours? She should give you a more direct answer at that time if she means something you don't want to hear, I guess. Then you could ask for a do over or a mulligan, maybe.

Do not call her back. It is too needy. Wait for her to call if she said she'll call you. If not move on. As Mirror often says, "There's no pity in sin city."
