A man walked into a jewellry store with a young blonde on a Saturday evening. He asked the shopkeeper to show him the costliest diamond ring for her size. The blode was overjoyed to see that he had chosen the most expensive ring for her. He selected one, gave the shopkeeper a cheque for the whole amount, dated for the following Mondays date, which just happened to be a bank holiday. Then told the shopkeeper to deliver the ring to her address on the Tuesday. After encashing the cheque, both the man and the blonde left the shop extremely happy.
On Tuesday morning, the man had a phone call from the shop keeper, scolding him on the phone, stating that there were insufficient funds in his account. The man laughed happily and said that he knew that already and went on to thank the shopkeeper for the happiest weekend he had ever had with the blonde.
