i am retire airforce they promised me free medical for the rest of my
life if i retire from the service i did my time why does the whole
country deseve free medical at my expense
i own a buisness that employs 12 people i invest my money into this
buisness and take the risk of loosing it all why do i have to pay to
employ people
i dont hire imigrits but my competitors do they dont pay social security
, unemployment , employment taxes why do we let them get away with this
i have a friend who was in a serious accident 250000 in med charges it
was hit and run now they want to put a lien on her house till she pays a
n illigal gets into a n acciden nothing happens

Randy, I hear what you are saying. You're better off than I am - I own
my own company too, but, cant afford health coverage for myself. I have
to pay into "Unemployment Insurance" per worker, but, by NJ State Law, I
cant collect on unemployment insurance.

My view is that there shouldnt be medical insurance in the first place.
Period. When any industry understands that there is an *UNLIMITED* cash
flow, the prices skyrocket accordingly. Medical/Insurance industry knows
that there's always "insurance" money to pay the bill, so the actual
incurred costs become un-important.

If you and I, and everyone else, had to pay for medical care directly,
then the rates and costs would necessarily have to plummet.

I agree with you fellows. The healthcare situation in our country is a
nightmare. Mobile dentistry vehicles GO TO migrant farm workers, but I
can hardly get a dentist to see us since we lost our dental insurance.
Health insurance...forget it. How many times do you pay for it only to
be told after filing that your charges won't be covered for whatever
reason. Yes, If the healthcare industry depended only on the money
coming from our pockets, we would probably be able to afford healthcare
w/out an ins. policy or going into debt.

its amazing that people work ther whole lifes retire get sick and loose
everything they have do to over paid doctors or having the wrong type of
health care but an illiegal can come here and get free heath care or how
about th eprison system i bet they have better health care than the
public in the us

I m movingto spain and asking for a free education,free healthcare and
live an a apartment with 25 relatives.

Health Insurance is a rip. My dr just prescribed me physical therapy 3x
a week for 6 weeks, but I can't do it because my co-pay for EACH visit
is $30! That's $90 a week - WTF. And I pay $250 a month in premiums
for just myself & son (health, eye & dental) thru work. I keep
threatening to quit my full-time job, have another kid (or 2 or more)
and collect all the welfare benefits. Now, I would never do that but at
times get so frustrated trying to make it on my own...

Maybe if we did more to stop the flo of Mexicans comming over our
boarders and receiving Gold cards for medical ..Im also retired Army 22
yrs, 2 tours in Nam..When i went to a local Hospital for a sholder that
was out of joint..they wanted $100 dollars to see a doctor..and right
behind me was a spanish person..I can't say they were legal or not..But
they had a Gold card .....Belive me it cost us alot here in Texas to
support them...This is part of our Medical problem....were getting over
a million a year here in Texas...The city i live in outside of Houston
is at least 80 % spanish..its getting so bad..Im really getting ready to
move back North..I don't dislike spanish people..I just say Fair is
Fair...and there not entittled to FREE medical care...at our
expense..(or college) Thats one mans opion...

How y'all think I feel. We have supposedly free medical care in Canada,
yet my health care premiums are almost $250/mo deducted off my cheque
here in Ontario. We have a severe doctor and nurse shortage that's
reaching endemic proportions. They keep heading to the US cuz they can
make more money. Part of the problem is, as soon as an immigrant lands
they are entitled to the SAME "free" health care the rest of us
supposedly get. They have never paid a penny into it and sadly, too many
of them never will. This means less money for the medical professionals.
Oh, and the health care premium is a NEW thing. It used to be in effect
until about 25 years ago until it was determined that it was
unconstitutional. So much for that idea today. And, with the
implementation of these new premiums came the de-listing of several
medical services that were covered:chiropractic, eye exams,
physiotherapy etc etc.
Now not all of the health care problems here can be attributable to
immigrants. The gov't is greedy too for eg: Our previous(and short
ruling Prime Minister) claimed to have all the answers to the health
care crisis. Ironically, this same man was the Finance Minister for
about 10 years before getting elected and AS the finance minister,
helped to create the situation in the 1st place. When he took Office he
claimed there was a huge budget surplus, but none of it made back into
the health care system and our taxes sure as hell didn't go down. As
individuals, we might not go bankrupt trying to pay our medical bills,
BUT I have seen ppl die in emergency waiting rooms cuz there isn't
enough doctors to go around. I've even spent 15 hours in the emerg with
a dislocated shoulder before anyone even looked at me.

I sold my business, got tired of baby sitting & being responsible for
other people's lack of good work habits. I started another with just
me. No employees/help?. Wife's death showed me, I take care of me &
mine frst & try to show others how to do the same. What happened to the
greatest country in the world, we always taught people to be independant
& now we teach total dependance.
