CinCinnati Ohio, we just got rocked with a earthquake, at first I thought it was a big truck going by, but after I fell off the sofa and my lamps was falling off the table, plus it lasted like 5 minutes I knew it wasnt a truck.
My Brother just called me from louisville, he said they got rocked there too, weird, we havent had a quake sense I was like 5. |

Rocked here near Chicago too. They say it was a 5.4, centered in Salem IL. I thought it was a train going by,as the tracks are just a block from me.

I didn't feel anything in Chicago, but maybe that's because I'm 15 floors up.

I live in Alabama and it woke me up, shook the hell out of me while i was sleeping and for some reason i just shrugged it off thinking it was our shaky clothes washer during its spin cycle. Finally I snapped to and realized I live alone and im obviously not washing clothes.

I love being scared it gives me such a rush kinda like Thunderstorms on a hot summer nite and the lights go out and you can't see anything and then you grab a candle to go to the bathroom and all of a sudden you catch a glimps of someone in the mirror and you swear it wasn't you but it really was?? OMG I JUST LOVE IT!!!!!

I've heard that we have the second largest faultline here in Illinois, called the New Madrid faultline. When I was in Germany, back in 89 or 90, I called my sister after there was one here, and she said she wondered what had awakened her in the morning..
It happened at 4:37 a.m. |

I thought it was just gas at first.

I haven't felt something for quite a while.
Well I'm going to sleep, I think. Night everyone, shake your booties in a good way and stay safe! |
