If I was better, well, I'd look like Brad Pitt. Otherwise, everything is copacetic.

I'm gettin' good with the emoticons. I feel "clip art literate" at this juncture.

We really need a much larger variety of emoticons to choose from!
grumble

I know. I need to have all the bases covered if I develop bi-polarism.

Thanks for being my friend Teach!!!

my pleasure, I hope. laugh

The first thing I'll do is clap out the erasers on your first day and dust off the globe. How's that?

....And you didn't even need to ask Mr. Belding to make me do it.

laugh

I have white boards and no globe. English, kind sir...we speak the Queen's language in my class. Or some jawn version of it anyway. laugh

Well then, you'll need to teach the students to spell realize with an "s" as in: "realise."

If you wanna keep it olde school.

Tis true, right and all! Maybe I'll break out the Cockney rhyming slang dictionary! I bet they'd love that! It's not much different from "yo, miss...what's this jawn?" huh

That sounds a little risque, no?

Apples and pears, stairs.

Euh, non. Nous regardons la television, pourquoi?

Sorry babe. I know several people in that boat. Medication is often effective but lack of control is a pretty hairy issue to tackle.

Are you there Floh?

Seriously, you need to tell me what's up with this little game. Last time I got a "match" who emailed me. Awesome girl, no complaints. But, I'm dying to figure how this stuff gets hashed out.

HELP ME FLOH-CHART!!

C'mon. I'll be your best friend.

Yeah, I used to work in mental health before I decided that I wanted to be a teacher when I grew up. From both a personal and professional perspective, I can tell you that bipolar disorder is one of the tougher disorders to deal with basically because of what it is. You get a bipolar person in a manic phase and they feel so good that they go off meds. It happens so frequently that it becomes nearly impossible to control the disorder. It's a horrible cycle. Stable on meds, but the meds don't stop the mania from kicking in. They get a bit manic and stop the meds. Then they're so out there that they just push the limits on everything until one of two things happens: they crash into a depression and end up hospitalized OR they do something incredibly stupid and end up hospitalized or in jail. Then they get restabilized on meds and the whole thing starts all over again. A manic person off meds never thinks to just take the meds again. It must end horribly for the meds to be forcefully administered by an outside agency to get the person stabilized.

Ok, sorry. That was a long post about my past life as a mental health worker.

Wow, it got awfully quiet in here again. Sigh.

I wonder if Matt bailed on me or if he's on a plane headed my way. laugh

Hmmm...I think I'm tired and I'll need to get some rest. I'm sure the answer will come to me in a dream.

Night! yawn

I'm really sorry if offended ya.' I didn't mean any harm but I dropped the follow-up in there just in case. flowerforyou
I have two friends on that wagon and it can get pretty tough to address. They usually do a ton of damage to themselves in short periodfs of time and it's too hard to catch them in time. Anyway, hope he stays the course.

I'm out kids. Later
