Would you date or get seriouse with an Airline Pilot knowing that he is gone half the time and he is mainly overseas??
Would you get involved with them knowing that they make a sh!tload of money and they have no one to spend it on??
If he offered to send you and your kids a plane ticket to see him and told you that if you didn't want to leave you didn't have to and he would give you the keys to his BMW??
Or that all you had to bring with you was the clothes on your back and he will take you and your kids shopping to buy all new clothes and stuff?? That what ever your kids wanted they could have and you too...Oh and what if he told you that you never had to work...EVER??

Well this acctually happened to me...YES ME!!
I am so confused about the whole thing because I am in a virtual relationship with a guy I have not met yet, and then he pops up out of nowhere. He is not from this site by the way!!
So he lives in upscale NewYork in a company owned 3bdr Condo and has a huge house in LA. He makes $20,000 a month flying Brithish air overseas and he is gone an awful lot. This is not a problem for me because I do good without my man under me 24-7.
What I want to know is just your opinions on this whole situation...Oh by the way I have not told this guy I would be with him and I did tell him I was involved with another man!!

If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Although I've known a couple of pilots and this isn't out of the ordinary.
Many are divorced for a lot of reasons and being gone all the time is only one of them.
