Ugh, Elgin. So you feel my pain, huh? hahaha

Yeah. The last time I went back to Chicago to see my relatives, my uncle decided it'd be fun to drive me to where I was born.

Talk about a "warzone"-

Beside the running gun-battles between homies in the streets, the crackwhores trying to hit us up for... uh... whatever they were trying to hit us up for, and the drug dealers, it was a wonder how we ever escaped that place. That little jaunt in his SUV turned into a high-speed, Starsky-and-Hutch, tire-squealing rollercoaster through town as we tried to get away from the locals there.

I'll never do THAT again...

Ahaha, oh it's quite the town. It's getting worse every year. I'm actually in the Dekalb area now though. My parents decided we needed to move after 2 shootings within a block of our house. lol

I dunno about youze people that like all that body modifying stuff,LOL.. Ah, Elgin.. When the boats still had to move, my sister and her friend hijacked me from work to be their escort to the boat there.(I'm 6ft4,300 lbs,and WAS a cop).I didn't feel safe there. When we were there,I saw a few people that I knew from the jail I worked at(Cook County).. Not the kind that went home every night like me, tho.
