Thats for sure, we all make choices. When I got out of the AF in Cal. The Civil Service ppl wanted me to stay and work there, but I chose to go back to Pa and work there. Dumb move

Oh, geez no. I was born and grew up in Pa. However we always vacationed down in this area (St Pete Peach) when I was a kid - I'm talking the 1950's. Even then ( 1955 0r so ) I knew I wanted to live here. So after I retired - here I am.

Now that I am Here you could not drag me back to the east coast! |

Oh, geez no. like no way, but here I am. My dad was from NY and he took me to PA several times and one year I vacationed in PA for two weeks, it has some beautiful scenery. One Thanksgiving it was 17 degrees and snowing and a threat of being snowed in and everybody packed and left. Felt bad for the in-laws, everyone leaving them.

Me tooo! Brrr I get cold thinking of the long winters! I lived in Milw. Wi. for 17 years, too. I had to break away from winter, so depressing!

I love this part of Manatee county because of how rural it is. Still a lot of Oranges and tomato farms, oh and a couple of cattle ranches too

Yeah I do love the country too. Before I leave this world, I want goats, geese and a pond of my own.
