The best of friends for so long Sadness and I It became my strongest emotion Yet no one ever seen me cry We hid in the shadows, watched the rest of the world crawl by No one gave us a second glance Sadness and I Momma is such an angry person I think she hates herself She yelled at me for the smallest things I could not go outside There were no friends in that old world of mine Only words And so I wrote and wrote Sadness and I
