Does anyone have a authentic north Carolina recipe calling for cole slaw? I know there are a thousand different ways to make it. But the N. carolina method is special..

Kirk, here is my grannies recipe....hope you like it Carolina Coleslaw 1 pound finley shredded cabbage 1 medium onion, finley chopped 1 medium green pepper, finley chopped 1/2 cup vinegar 1/2 cup sugar 1/2 cup salad oil salt pepper celery seed Put cabbage, onion and pepper in a bowl. IN a sauce pan add vinegar, sugar, and salad oil. Heat to a boil- immediatly pour over veggies, add salt pepper and celery seed. Refrigerate over nite for best taste.... Hope you enjoy.
