the whole idea of dating sorta frightens me, i look at it as friends with possibilities

I've given up on finding anybody anywhere..I just like the forums here.

What do you do when you've exhausted all of your prospective matches at a dating web site? Aside from changing my search criteria, which are pretty much just my "deal breakers," it seems like I've already communicated with (or been rejected) all of my matches at several different web sites. I've moved on to new sites, sort of, but the old ones remain bookmarked. Is anybody else familiar with this experience? What have you done about it? Check the sites once in awhile in your spare time, meanwhile live your life. I'm looking for a certain type of person also. It took me nearly a year of casual searching to find somebody that I really liked and was mutual. This is just another option, and you should use in like any other option until one of them finally pays off for you. I hope you find what you're looking for. |

I don't come on here looking for someone to "date." I come on here looking to make friends with many people, then I go from there. I think you need to go out locally and just have fun. Don't go out with the thought of "finding someone." Just go out and have fun and thats when you least expect it and it will happen.

Try "Mutual Match" 100% accurate,50,000 members can't be wrong!! I've actually gone through all of my mutual matches. I don't really have access to all 50,000 members. One of my deal breakers, unfortunately, is that my match be reasonably local. Long-distance relationships don't work for me. Maybe that means that dating web sites are going to be of limited utility to me, but it's just the way it is. I have this same problem. It sucks being on a dating site when you are from a small town. Isn't it bad enough that your options are already limited.....? |

I started using date sites because the people in my town are jerks..they don't approve of any part of my life..So I came searching for people that might..and still haven't found them

try buying a whore...lot cheaper and keeps your internet time to be used for porn rather than these wastefull forums of sorts

Yeah. Finding somebody at church is probably going to be my best bet. I always feel REALLY weird asking a girl on a date at church, though. Ah well, looks like Real Life wins this battle, as usual. I need to be more sociable anyway, but damn, is it ever hard.

Personally,I have changed over my setting 2 friendship.Time & experience on this site has taught me a valuable lesson.If sparks start 2 fly along the way w/1 of my friends then I will be ecstatic.But until then myself nor others should have these unrealistic expectations.(jmo)Good Luck!2 us all though & Godspeed!Cy
