Ft. Benning is what I call home,,,, Was their for jump school and 1st infantry traning school,,,Also worked at the Ranger school,,,, Wanted to go to sniper school but had my back broken so that ended everything???? Suck's

Now you have to be in the service for 3 year's to go to ranger school and sniper school,,,, Aything to do with special op's He's in JROTC now, wnats to go to college and join a ROTC program there so when he goes to basic he'll have his Bachelor's. Eventually he wants to go the SOC/Sniper route.

I thought about the military as an alternative to having to pay for college, but I just don't have the motivation.

Wyatt it is a 3 week course and a 40 to 60% drop out rate

Ranger school has about the same drop out rate but most are due to injury,,,,,

Well, he still ahs 2 years of HS left, then 4 - 5 years of college, then basic.... It'll be awhile.
