I am the same way. I enjoy people.

I never disliked a person I had just met.

Honestly, I have run across some of the best people I've ever known, right here on this site.

And, yes, I know the whole "you really don't know anybody here because they're far away and they can be anybody they want to pretend to be blah blah blah" argument, and I don't care about that, because I can only go by what I see here, but....there are still a hell of a lot of good people here.

And some REAL turds, to be sure. But, on a percentage basis, not so many.

I would have to say that -- with the exception of the friends I've known all my life, or thereabouts -- most of the people I've interacted with on this site are FAR better people, FAR better human beings, than the ones I meet in the "real" world. On some level, maybe that's sad and pathetic. But at least I have some evidence that there are still decent people in the world. Even if they all do live 897,000 miles away from me.

i am not a people person.After 20 yrs of customer service I find most people to either be rude or have the sense of humor of a crab.
This place is wonderful though.
