My version of Romance What gave you the idea that I’m in need of perfection? I’ve sinned before and it will happen again Knights are extinct, a part of the past All that chivalry nonsense is nothing but crap I’ll solve my own problems and live my own life All that I want is someone to stay by my side

Don't know the chivalry Kate... there needs to be more of it in the hole we live in... Men like that are hard to find and deserve to be respected. Nice write!

A true gentleman is very much respected in my book sister (didn't realize the wording made it look otherwise but I see it now, I'll have to edit). I was more trying to refer to false chivalry (some guys are very good at mimicking gentlemanly behavior but only if they think they'll get something out of it). Thanks everyone for the replies

I agree with you also, there is a lot of false chivalry in this world and people need to realize that we should all just treat eachother like we want to be treated ourselves and sometimes a little better in some circumstances. This is well written and I do like it. The misunderstanding gave me some insight to you and thank you for sharing! You're doing well here!

Thanks sister. Glad I could clarify, especially since this is an old poem and it gave me the opportunity to see another point of view of it (actually sharing most of what I've written is something I haven't done since grade school and I'm really enjoying to hear others input). I couldn't agree with you more. There aren't nearly enough geniunly nice people in the world (and there won't be until everyone is). Its been a long day (up at 5 to feed horses and doing barn work until 7 tonight) but I got a lot done and this made my night that much better Hope your weekend is going well.
