I'll visit the war museum when war itself is in it. War is vain. You won't find me with a killing weapon in my hand - no way - I fear God!

If that is the way he feels.. It is the way he feels... and has a right to it without being held to ridicule. He did not say how you should feel. Mostly? I tend to agree.. but not necessarily for the same reasons. His are moral. War should be the final option. After all others are exhausted. Mine are more pragmatic. Sometimes... war and violence is a part of life. I just do not agree with making war for the sake of making war.

War should be the VERY last option...and contridictory to popular belief..Soldiers would prefer a war doesn't brake out...it means longer/harder working hours for them...trust me the working hours after september 11th sucked!

The trouble is, how do we prevent war when what we truly want is not peace but profit (or worse yet, influence)?

This is true...there will always be war as long as there is greed or hunger for power...and i don't think either one of those will go away soon...soooo...you do the math.
