I just had an argument with my deaf landlord about the rent being late. The last 6 months I have given him the rent at least a week ahead of schedule, but fell behind this month.
He tells me "I can't hear you". Well, DUHHHH... It got me to think about the things that people say that are unneeded.
A few that always get me are:

What's the weather like outside? As you really need to say outside.
At 10am in the morning. As opposed to 10am at night??

Give up some of your sayings, or ones that get to you..
I know it's trivial, but it can be funny.

I hate it when people say,"I could care less"....when the correct way to say it is...."I COULDN'T care less".
