I wouldn't say fiction, necessarily. More like radically skewed and biased manglings -- for the sake of an agenda -- of more or less factual events.

I know! That was crazy! You can't make it a planet in 1930 and kick it out of the lineup now just because it's the wrong size or color or something.

Taking Pluto off the Planet list screwed me up.


I know! That was crazy! You can't make it a planet in 1930 and kick it out of the lineup now just because it's the wrong size or color or something.


I am embarassed to say I found out at the museum of natural history and my son said (what I thought was) the wrong number of planets. I said, no honey what about Pluto and he said, nooo, that's not a planet. embarassed

What happened is they found a "moon" in the rotation they thought was pluto. Come to find out they were looking in the wrong spot!!!!!!! A planet is there just not in the rotation they've been tracking. Simply put found a moon & a different rotation for pluto. All political

I think it depends who wrote it. My take on history now is different than in high school.

If most of history is fiction then what about that thing about if you don't know history you are doomed to repeat it? Would we be repeating ficton or something else?
