"Secrete Court to Govern Wire Tapping"

wtf???

1. if th media tells all the world of a "Secrete Court" it is no longer
a secret...RIGHT?

2.wire tapping???
we no longer have freedom of speech on our own phones???

3. big brother is watching OUR every move...
why not watch for terrorists instead???

4.OUR TAX DOLLARS AT WORK...too bad it's working against us...

Matters not to me most of my communications including the telephone here
are done over the internet andyhow. I like email because it protects the
writer not the recipient. Besides If they want me I am not hard to find
anyhow. I have so many websites up and am listed in so many places
online that they know who and where I am almost all the time anyhow.

naww Kevin,,,I just thought it was messed up that a HEADLINER on a news
page would say that a secrete COURT will govern wire tapping...

so what is th big secrete???
if th whole world knows it,what makes it a secrete???

the "secret" in the "Secret Court" means that the records of what is
said, and what evidence is presented is not a matter of public record.

so, there is no accountability to the actions and decisions of this
court. there is no appeal, and no objective rules of disclosure -
meaning, the defense may or may not get to see the evidence against
them.

all in all, its horribly against what i love about being an american,
and that would be my right to a fair and objective trial. i realize this
particular court is only about the content of wiretapping, and not a
full court system, but is all around problematic for all of us
americans- long after the current 'terrorist' crap is done [remember how
much we hated germans and japanese? reasonable to expect that in 20 yrs
the arab's will be our 'friends'... then what? the laws will still
exist, and applicable against only americans... bad news]
