If not for Hamburger and Tuna Helper, I would have died after my son was born. That was all my ex could really cook and I couldn't get up....

we call hamburger helper "crap in a box". Would never touch it.... yeah? you think they're that bad? imo, some are pretty decent. all require some help. i dunno, they're still better than what a lot of people can cook

I prefer to season with fresh herbs from my garden.

I shudder thinking of those days. coulda been worse, tons of college kids live off of ramen. i had an ex who did that, kept on trying to tell her that she needed something more than salt and carbs in her diet

I shudder thinking of those days. coulda been worse, tons of college kids live off of ramen. i had an ex who did that, kept on trying to tell her that she needed something more than salt and carbs in her diet i'm glad i had a meal plan at my college...and it was a cooking school so there was good food....when i chose to eat

If not for Hamburger and Tuna Helper, I would have died after my son was born. That was all my ex could really cook and I couldn't get up.... Trust that I will never open a boxed dinner like that.. let alone cook it. I shattered my lower jaw when I was 9 years old. A few surgeries later and 6 months of having my mouth wired shut.. I had actually gained weight. Something that truly surprised the Doctors and Nurses. My Mom achieved this by cooking hamburger helper then making a puree of it in the blender. Which I had to suck through a straw. Then manage to keep it down. This was my first lesson regarding the importance of texture to the palette, the last time I've eaten hamburger helper.
