I have like 40 mutual matches and none have ever written to say hi.. wierd. I always wonder if they accidently clicked on me in the first place...I don't hear from mine either.

I have like 40 mutual matches and none have ever written to say hi.. wierd. I always wonder if they accidently clicked on me in the first place...I don't hear from mine either. Well, if you guys have mutual matches come up, you ever try writing to them instead? I'm thinking everyone is sitting around waiting for someone else to make the first move.... I think in many cases, not necesarily yours, this happens.

It's that cold call thing.... I think I'll have to try to get past that............

I think a lot of people do that. I tried contacting all the matches at first, but had no luck with that. Now, if I contact them and we don't really match (happens often!)or they don't contact me within a few days, I delete them. I've actually met more interesting people by reading the forums and contacting people who catch my interest for one reason or another. I don't understand the purpose of having the friends. is it so you will know when they are on-line? Also, what does "thread killing" mean or how does one do it?
