i think may of us have had bad experiences on other sites and it has caused us to be more cautious.. I've had more issues with men I met IRL than from ones met online. Be patient or lower your standards. When i lowered my standards i got with two losers so no i won't lower my standards again. It isn't worth it, standards are there for a reason...... I TOTALLY agree. I have standards and refuse to compromise them. If that means I am alone for the rest of my life, at least I enjoy my own company. |

OK, i am having a bad weekend or should i say a bad start of the year 2008 and could use some advice. I am not looking for sympathy just some good suggestions. Most of my friends are married, i am one of the few single ones left and am always a fifth wheel. Its to the point now that i don't really go out with them anymore just cuz its the same old thing. NO new people coming in, going to the same place u know what i am saying. So i came to this site just to check it out and i have posted on the forums like i have read that new people should do. But i have had no luck whats so ever on here. I know i am not ugly and have alot to offer so i am wondering if it is my profile or is it just not really workin for people? Not sure. Also any suggestions on where to truely meet someone now a days? You're still new, just keep posting in the forums, you'll find something.
