I see this in profiles all the time "not into game playing" does anybody have a idea what this means? Maybe if I knew what it means I could avoid it. It means "I've been hurt and I'm vulnerable and I'm too dumb to realize that putting this information into a profile actually makes me more of a target for game players and abusers who are slick enough to perceive what easy prey I am going to be." |

They are mind games, power games, etc. Game playing is the human mating dance. In the game, usually played by young adults, the woman is looking for commitment and marriage, and the man wants to get laid. This is not always the case of course, but this is the general game. Lately the games has changed with the advent of the pickup artists who give seminars and classes on how to pick up girls, how to approach women, etc. The objective to to see how many you can have sex with for most, but some men just want to know how to get the woman of their dreams for a relationship. I have been reading up on this stuff because I have a website about it. A good book to read is called: "The game" by Neil Strauss. It is about his penetrating the secret society of pickup artists. It is about relationships, getting a mate, keeping one, getting laid, ... having success with the opposite sex. The site I built for my client/partner Jack, is here: http://www.love-pot.com |
