that a co-worker had been stealing things from work, let's say it's staplers, pens, tape, etc. Would you say anything to them or your boss? This person is just an okay friend, but telling the boss could result in promotion and a raise. What do you do?

Was required to take a polygraph for a previous position and was asked that very question. Since I have been raised to be a very honest person, I admitted to taking paperclips, copy paper, push pins, etc. Within 10 minutes of the test, the person conducting the polygraph determined that I was an open and honest person and I got the job.

Highly unlikely that a person would receive a promotion due to the "whistle blowing"...but that is a nice fantasy...laugh
