Was required to take a polygraph for a previous position and was asked that very question. Since I have been raised to be a very honest person, I admitted to taking paperclips, copy paper, push pins, etc. Within 10 minutes of the test, the person conducting the polygraph determined that I was an open and honest person and I got the job. Highly unlikely that a person would receive a promotion due to the "whistle blowing"...but that is a nice fantasy... ![]() |
