I worked at a large university where they give stuff away to foreign students right and left. Send them home with new laptops even. I spoke out about it. What happens? They get rid of me. No justice for real Americans in this country. Not one of the major candidates is listening to what most people are saying. Maybe it's time for a Boston tea party again.

Who made them major candidates?

When Edwards was listening the whole time???

Damn Democrats!!!grumble grumble

The foreigners getting Pell grants are anchor babies! Both parents are illegal immigrants, often these children weren't even born here!

This is old news, and I cant understand that when these people were children, going to public school, paid for with tax-dollars, no one said a word.

What did you think would happen when they grew-up? I've said this for at least ten-fifteen years, and have seen, those who dont believe "flowers smell," (and heard) the comments of racist, and the excuses, used in defense of illegal immigrants by the bleeding-hearts! (All of that)

Just wait,
every year that goes by, more, and more of these anchor-babies turn 18! In America. if you are 18, and born in the country you can vote!!
(Think about that)

Now, which way do you think they will vote?

My bet is they will vote for candidates that support amnesty for even more illegal immigrants, and less enforcement of immigration laws!grumble grumble

I hate to say it, but I believe many anchor-babies are of age to vote this time round! Next elections, and we will have more Hispanic votes than any other group of Americans.
You've about waited too long to do something! Times up, you best act now!

I don't suppose anyone is actually interested in the facts behind this one of many thousands of hoaxes we see emailed and republished, as a direct effort to feed on our collective ignorance?

http://www.snopes.com/politics/immigration/pellgrant.asp

Remember folks... You are most likely in a group who suffers or has suffered from bigotry at some point in history.

I realise that this is a very hot issue for most Americans right now. With that in mind? It is not too bright, and could be considered a bigoted action, for us to spread disinformation as a truth... in an effort to make a political point or outcast a group. Especially because most of us are bright enough to check the veracity and integrity of what we choose to repeat.

It took me only 4 seconds to establish this as bogus.

My first clues were these lines...
'Something is wrong here. I am sorry but after hearing they want to sing the National Anthem in Spanish - enough is enough.'

'please pass this along.'

'I am not against immigration -- just come through like everyone else. Get a sponsor; have a place to lay your head; have a job; pay your taxes, live by the rules AND LEARN THE LANGUAGE as all other immigrants have in the past -- and GOD BLESS AMERICA!'

All pretty common to the other garbage I've seen like this on the subject of immigration.

If it had any substance at all... The writer would have left out the rhetoric, and let the reader make up their own mind.
