Blood, violence, murder, mayhem, images of doom and gloom. What have we got here? Some kind of horror movie?

No, just another edition of the nightly news.

With smiling faces and playful banter, the channel 2 news anchors recite one horror story after another. Mad cow disease, killer flus, tragic accidents, a psychotic killer on the loose (yashafox!), a devestating flood in India, plus a host of other stories.

As Jerry turns off the TV he sighs. "This world is messed up! What's the point? I mean, what do I have to live for? The way things are going, I won't even make it to be 30."

Is it any wonder that this dude's depressed? Is there any hope in a world that seems to be spinning out of control?

Yes! One of the greatest, most encouraging passages in the whole Bible is found right at the end. Read Revelation 21 and 22 for a fascinating and faith-building look at what the future holds for those who know Christ. If you don't know Christ as your savior, now is the perfect time to ask him to forgive your sins and to acceept his offer of eternal life. So, what're you waiting for?
