jill when they act up...start singing karma cameleon and dance in front of their friends I'll have to try that, I still know the words or wake me up before you go go i'm a terrible mom walk like an egyptian omg...and you HAVE to do the dance

The conversation I had with my daughter... As she held my hand as to let me down gently. "mom, you know that I love you, I really do... and I know... I KNOW that you love me too. But uuummmmmm could you not say it in front of my friends so much?? Thanks" friggin kids You got it going on Jill My 16 year old son went out on his first REAL date last weekend , so we were talkin in the Kitchen , just the 2 of us and I say " son .. you know about that talk we had , about girls ??.."... he says " yeah Dad , any parts you didn't understand ??"

My son doesnt care......he will hug and give me a kiss on the cheek in front of his friends and say I love you because I taught him to be a loving person!

In fact he taught my dad to say I love you because he didnt. He point blank asked my dad why he never said I love you back!!! Lol funny you can teach an old dog new tricks.....by the grandchildren!!

Hey Jill~ ever thought about a code? Your daughter might think that was okay... so you can still mean it but not say it and she can not have to be embarrassed. Maybe a phrase she comes up with... Now when you got to drop her off down the street and she'll act like she has no mother... that I draw a blank on!
