I actually wrote this one night and well. I thought it turned out, pretty good. Tell me what you think

I walked a path in which I should have never took
A path ethced in my heart, like a writers book
Around a corner, there I saw and gazed
The key to my only happiness, in a large stone maze

As I entered the maze, with fear and pain within
I realized that I could not turn back herein
Surrounded by darkness, despair and sorrow
You gave me the strength, that you let me borrow

As I approached the middle of the maze at
I was engulfed in the darkness, I could not gaze at
Swirling, drifting, not knowing where to go
I was struck, and blinded with a thunderous blow

As I buried my face, surrounded by the dark night
You came in like an angel with your radiant light
As I stood up and raised my head up high,
I began to admire your beauty, as I cry
There we stood, in a distance between us
I knew I couldn't be with you, my heart turned to dust

To this day, I admire you from near and far
I looked up towards the sky, wishing upon a star
I hoped that one day I would be with you
To show you how much I truly love you
