First get a copy of Cosmo, its right on the cover thay have tons of articles about what women are looking for. After you've read about 20 issues, forget everything you read cuz it's all a bunch of bull. Go to a bar, see if there's anything you want. If not have a few beers and try again. Keep repeating till you've spotted one you like. Go up and buy her a drink, ask if she's interested. If not repeat until she is. Any other questions?

yeah...Cosmo is your definite guide to getting hot women! drinker

running is bad for the knees

yes and no.it can be and it is for a good many people. if the supporting tissue (muscles, tendons, ligaments) around the knees aren't strong enough to keep the joint itself from taking the whole load from running, the knees will suffer. those elliptical trainers can accomplish basically the same thing, if the person knows their knees won't stand up to the pounding.

still, the key is to establish a target heart rate and maintain it through your workout, whatever it happens to be, running, cycling, elliptical etc..

I have good knees!

you said you walk? can you not run? They say the key to cardio and weight loss is getting your heart rate up and keeping it there for at least 30 min..

Invest in a heart rate monitor(you can get a basic one for around a hundred) and guage the intensity of your workouts according to it. You're not too old to loose it but it;ll take more work than if you were, say, 25..

Oh and you have to work the abs.. try and do 50 sit ups a day and work your way up from there..

I was good when I was 25 pitchfork I know it's a lot harder now noway

I just started up at Weight Watchers and also have a bunch of aerobic videos (I know, boring for men). My carbs are my downfall, I really need to be careful and cut way back on them.

I have a love affair with bread....mmm...fresh baked rustic italian loaf! drool

You are in your early 40s which will make it that much more difficult but it’s not impossible. You really need to focus on cardio and that will help you lose the extra weight. Then when you start to have more energy add in some weight training and target your abs.

I walk 3-5 miles a day, I noticed a slight reduction in the overall weight but not those love handles frustrated brokenheart

Obliques are more difficult on males. I have some bad news but with the walking, this will work. Diet by getting rid of those foods that are only helping you gain and retain weight around your middle. You want to cut out any fried foods, manufactured baked goods, red meats and dairy products with whole milk. All of these foods have a high amount of unhealthy fats and oils. If you can’t go cold turkey, just LIMIT those foods and do your cardio.

I try and stay away from processed cheese and I love cheese! drool

what exercise is good for the beer belly? drinker

Treadmill & bike, you have to burn calories, I also use most of the weight equiptment there as well, one of my friends is a trainer & he has me on a work out routine. It's worth doing, my last physical was right on the money.

I am getting there on my cardio, I walk alot
